Blue Jays a plenty

For a day or two the Blue Jays seemed to dominate the back yard. They can be ornery but these just seemed to want to eat and drink before moving on to another destination. As you can see their coloring is bright and beautiful and nothing like their song and high pitched screeching.

Two new birds spotted in our Normal Backyard this week. The Red Headed Woodpecker and the Spotted Towhee. Our backyard has been full of bird activity a lot of House Sparrows, Starlings and black birds. This week we have also had the Red Breasted Grosbeaks migrating through and earlier the White-Throated Sparrows.
